Animal Enrichment Programs - Creature Comforts

Enrichment in Action

Food, check. Water, check. Shelter, check. Is that all there is when it comes to caring for animals? Not even close at Cleveland Metroparks Zoo. The Zoo's annual event, Creature Comforts demonstrates why enrichment is vital to every animal's well being, wild or tame.

Zookeepers conducted and explained enrichment demonstrations throughout the Zoo. Visitors were able to observe how enrichment works for all kinds of animals. Zoo visitors were also able to take home practical tips to enrich the lives of their pets.
