No doubt about it...
Cleveland Metroparks Zoo is lucky to have one of the finest groups of volunteers in Ohio. Donating about 45,000 hours of service every year, volunteers provide visitors with a unique and personal Zoo experience. They assist the Zoo in its mission "...to improve the future for wildlife" in many ways.
We invite you to join this dedicated team. All that's required is a love of our natural world, an interest in spending time with visitors of all ages, completion of the required training, and commitment to the minimum hours requirement.
If you are interested in becoming a Cleveland Metroparks Zoo volunteer, please fill out a volunteer interest form on-line and we will contact you with more information. Or, contact the Manager of Volunteer Services by email or at 216-635-3395.
The first step in becoming a Zoo volunteer is to participate in a Volunteer Safari. The Volunteer Safari is your opportunity to get a closer look at the many activities we have available for Zoo volunteers, the training we offer and the commitment we are seeking.
Volunteer Safari dates for 2008 have passed. The next opportunity to become a Zoo volunteer will be in 2009. If you complete the volunteer interest form, we will keep your name on file and notify you as soon as we have set the dates for our Volunteer Safari (orientation) and training for 2009
